    "Mike, who listed and sold our home in the fall of 2017, is an exceptionally good realtor. We have been through 5 prior transactions with numerous different realtors and can confidently say that he is at the top of the pack. From the beginning we felt that he was working in OUR best interests, which is not necessarily always aligned with what is best or 'easiest' for him. He exhibited tremendous patience, repeatedly calming our anxieties and preaching that 'patience' is critical to getting the best deal possible. He often reminded us that there is ALWAYS a buyer for EVERY property, and that OUR buyer is out there, they just haven't discovered it yet. Throughout the process, he kept us well informed of other transactions in the area, and helped us to understand what, if any, the implications were to our listing. We sold our home at a time when Calgary real estate had suffered a difficult few years. We considered listing our home with Mike 1 year earlier, however his advise at the time was to wait 1 year longer, believing our patience would pay off. We took his advise and waited and our patience paid off with a stronger more confident market to sell in. An additional challenge was that our home was also flooded by the Elbow River in 2013. He did an excellent job of managing the 'stigma' associated with our 'flood home' and successfully managed to provide the much needed education and comfort to interested buyers. Mike's head on honest disclosure based approach made this factor a non-issue to most buyers. When negotiations ensued and we felt weak in the knees, he was strong and steadfast where I believe a less experienced realtor may have caved. After the deal was signed, Mike stayed on top of the closing conditions and ensured the deal closed without a hitch. The unique blend of Mike's professionalism with his casual confident demeanor was the perfect mix for our family. We owe a tremendous debt of gratitude to Mike for his efforts. In our next transaction, we will most certainly use Mike again and we will strongly recommend Mike to all friends and family. "
