It’s been another banner year for the team at RE/MAX Real Estate (Central) in Calgary.
At the recent 2023 RE/MAX R4 Convention in Las Vegas, it received six awards including two for being the #1 office in Canada and the # 1 office in the World for Closed Transactions.
The office also was #1 for Total Dollar Volume in both Canada and Worldwide and #1 for Single Office in Agent Count in both Canada and Worldwide.
This is the 24th straight year and the 25th time since 1997 that Central has received the honour of the top RE/MAX office in the world.
“Thank you to Calgary and Alberta – to all our loyal clients, who place their trust in Central,” said Nick Profeta, a licensed realtor, Office Manager and CHO (Chief Happiness Officer at Central.
“To be recognized year after year for leading RE/MAX in production in Canada and the World is such a meaningful honour. The awards are all due to the great agents and staff we have in our office. Their passion for the business is why our office continues to earn these awards.”
The office had 161 individuals and teams that earned awards this year. The various award levels are based on commissions paid on closed transactions.
Ken Eddy, a realtor with Central, received a special award – the Spirit of Canada Award, which is presented to a Sales Professional who is always contributing beyond all others to the success and promotion of their office and the RE/MAX brand.
This individual likely sits on a committee, organizes events, attends RE/MAX conferences and seminars and, in general, promotes good will.

Several Central agents were also recognized for their prestigious rankings for their accomplishments.

#9 – RE/MAX Top 50 Canada (Medium Team, Residential)
#36 – RE/MAX Top 100 Year-End Canada (Team, Residential & Commercial)
#71 – RE/MAX Top 100 Year-End World (Team, Residential & Commercial)
David Pellettier was recognized for earning the following rankings:
#5 – RE/MAX of Western Canada Top 100 (Individual, Residential)
#48 – RE/MAX Top 100 Year-End Canada (Individual, Residential)

The Las Vegas convention was also a celebration of the brand’s 50th anniversary.

Aside from handing out some awards, RE/MAX Canada was the recipient of one as well, being named Region of the Year for the entire RE/MAX organization for the second year in a row.
